The Kyra Project – Ambassadors
We are delighted to have been asked to be a workplace ambassador for The Kyra Project.
Kyra is a registered charity which supports people who identify as female over the age of 18 years old to feel empowered and make positive changes in their lives by offering a safe, supportive space with courses and activities for a variety of situations, perhaps to address specific issues, recovery from abuse, bereavement, money and legal issues etc Kyra has a wonderful team of 55 volunteers and 10 councillors to support people coming through the doors, on average 198 people visit Kyra per week for support and with the ambassador project, Kyra hopes to be able to support many more women in the future.
Kyra is looking for more business partners in York to become Workplace Ambassadors to signpost colleagues, customers and clients to the range of activities and services on offer at their centre in the heart of York.
